深入研究了Whitt等提出的基于人造点目标的极化定标算法(Whitt算法),发现并证明了Whitt算法中对特征值对应次序的判断条件在某些情况下不成立,且分析了特征值次序对应关系错误对失真矩阵求解结果造成的影响。在此基础上,提出了新的判断条件和解决方法,对Whitt算法进行了改进。利用中国科学院电子学研究所研制的一部机载PolSAR系统进行了极化外定标实验验证,结果表明利用该改进算法进行极化定标参数求解具有更好的有效性和稳健性。 |

This paper gives an intensive analysis into the polarimetric calibration algorithm proposed by Whitt, named as Whitt algorithm. It is proven that the judgment condition applied to sorting the eigenvalues is invalid under some circumstances. Moreover, this paper discusses the effects of the wrong relationship between eigenvalues on the solving results of the distortion matrices. Furthermore, we improve the Whitt algorithm by proposing novel judgment condition and solving method. Finally, experiments are conducted with a PolSAR system developed by Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The results demonstrated better effectiveness and robustness on acquiring polarimetric calibration parameters with the improved algorithm proposed in this paper. |
