本文应用无约束的最大功率传输效率(MMPTE)法来实现阵列天线的极化可调控设计。通过引入一个放置于远场区的极化控制接收天线,与待设计的阵列天线构成无线功率传输(WPT)系统,从而将天线阵列的极化可调控设计转化为天线阵列的最大功率传输效率问题。只要阵列本身在物理上存在实现极化可调控的可能性,就可以利用MMPTE计算出待设计阵列的激励分布,使发射阵列产生所需要的极化。该方法还能保证所设计的阵列天线同时具有高增益和低旁瓣。相比传统的多极化阵列设计方法,本文方法不依赖特定的单元选择和阵列排布方式,是一种极化可调控阵列的通用设计方法。 |

A Universal Design Method for Polarization-Reconfigurable Antenna Arrays |

This paper introduces a design method based on the unconstrained method of maximum power transmission efficiency(MMPTE) to realize polarization-reconfigurable antenna arrays. By introducing a polarization-control-receiving antenna placed in the far field region, the array to be designed and the receiving antenna form a wireless power transmission(WPT) system. As long as the array has the physical potential of realizing reconfiguration of multiple polarizations, the amplitude and phase of excitation for the array to be designed can be obtained from MMPTE, which can be used to realize the designated polarization. The antenna array designed by MMPTE also has the advantages of high gain and low side lobes as guaranteed by the MMPTE. Compared with the traditional methods for designing polarization-reconfigurable arrays, our method does not rely on antenna element and the array arrangement and is a universal design method for polarization-reconfigurable antenna arrays.
